Guest guest Posted December 10, 2005 Report Share Posted December 10, 2005 , I am 50 years old and early this year had chest pain and ended up in ER also. Every test known to man........no heart problems, but thru a chest x-ray discovered my diaphram elevated into my lung on the left side, this is CMT related. Since that time more tests have showed that I have a 20% diminished lung capacity at this point. I've been using the inhaler and I also haven't noticed much difference. I get very winded just doing normal daily activities, so I rest very frequently. Not the way I intended to be at 50..........oh well.
