Guest guest Posted November 21, 2005 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 Hi : We've had good luck with Cougar boots here in Canada...our local children's shoe specialist takes the removable insole out for space. They have plenty of room for the AFO and are velcroed well up Gavin's leg, so really support...also have good ridged rubber soles for grip on ice and snow. Re socks...we've recently found an Italian children's dress shop here (the type with lots of communion, prom and wedding clothes etc.)that carries knee high boys socks that go with a school uniform they carry. They go up high enough for the AFOs, no worries. The same sort of store in your area might have it. Wigman also carries children's hiking socks that work well...
