Guest guest Posted March 7, 2006 Report Share Posted March 7, 2006 Hi, My son got Vancomicin for 5 days and we saw a great improvement with his bowel movements but after a week his bowelmovements went back to how they were before we started the treatment:-( I am affraid it was non enough... My son weights approx. 15kg and he is 2.5 years old. The prescription was 1.25ml 4 times a day for 5 days. Peta_ if you read this message I remembered you saying me your little one took it as well (2.5ml 3 times a day for 2 weeksor so - I did a search...:-)). How old was he at that time? Do you remember how much he weighted? One more thing - did u take at that time Probiotics as well to support the friendly bac in the gut? or did you wait until the end of the Vancomycin course for that?
