Guest guest
Hi everyone I read more than I write in hear I have learned so much from you all my question is how do you deal with a child who spits when he doesn't get his way? My son is 10 years old and has just started doing this. He is a non-stop eating machine and he has gain so much weight . I can't get him to eat the " right " foods mostly carbs!! I am at my wits end. He is a big boy and yells and screams til I give him food. He wines that he's hungry even after we've had Dinner. My Doctor tells me not to worry about it that he is getting ready to go thru a growth spurt. I can't do that, you see I have fought my weight all my life and I don't want him to suffer with everything else that he has to deal with. Any help would be wonderful. You are all such strong parents and I have learned so much from you all Peace Jeanne
Guest guest
First of all I wonder about the spitting myself my 6 year old daughter is doing it. I think it may be a sensory thing. Then again my husband has sinus drainage and has been doing it a lot. The carbs may be a yeast issue !!! Does he take any probotics? My daughter use to do that also its like a drug they can not get enough. The weight thing though has never been an issue shes a tiny little thing. Guest guest
He is always congested! But this was the 1st time he got mad enough to want to spit at me! He is not on any kind of med's I only give him Vit's and Melation to help him sleep. What are probtics? I am so leary of letting him take anything. A friend of mine years ago told me to never allow the Doctor to put him on Drugs they are reall sure how it affects people with Autism. Oh by the way my friend is a {Pyarmices} Sorry I can't spell it! Anyway he has never done this before I did find out that there are kids in his class that spit I think he is copying them. I told his teacher today and she is going to see if he is doing it at school! So far he's not!! Thanks for advice. Guest guest
If your son is seeing other kids do it I bet thats what he is doing. Probotics are to help control yeast overgrowth in your body which comes from antibotics and a lot of foods we love. Mostly anything junk unless its a gfcf it basically has gluten or wheat in it!!!
