Guest guest
Only three problems I can think of: 1) Every police/sheriff would have to be trained and know to look for the ID and the information on it would have to be standardized. 2) Identification # would have to be assigned in centralized location so they are unique to 1 individual and all of that individuals information would have to be maintained and accurate. 3) How many kids go outside without being completely dressed and who has time to put these labels in EVERTHING they do wear? > Seems to me we are all thinking inside the box...I have an idea I'll toss out > there (mind you I'm still on my first cup of coffee LOL ) How about a > rectangular sticker (like an adress label with an ID # and a Autism Alert sign ( > we've got to design one) That we can put on Our Kids shirts ( on their backs ) It > would have to be registered with the police department , along with a photo. > > > CB's Granny
Guest guest
One mother told me that she used to use a permanent marker to put their phone number on her child's back and renewed it everytime it wore off. He also would run around in just his shorts like our Evan does. Guest guest
It would be great if we could come up with something that is iron on..... no tags allowed here, and they pull labels off each other... Guest guest
Sounds like we need a special designer label that could go on either their shirts or pants, maybe both. Evan is more apt to keep his shorts on but not his shirt. Of course, if he goes in the water to play, he usually ends up buck naked but then we would just have to tatoo his, uh, bottom? We have not been able to convince Evan to keep his shorts on once they get wet so on the days the wading pool is up, they cannot have company, especially of the female gender. Betty Seems to me we are all thinking inside the box...I have an idea I'll toss out there (mind you I'm still on my first cup of coffee LOL ) How about a rectangular sticker (like an adress label with an ID # and a Autism Alert sign ( we've got to design one) That we can put on Our Kids shirts ( on their backs ) It would have to be registered with the police department , along with a photo.
