hi donna -

about your possible treadmill purchase... i find that once you get

the dh to want one then you are all set! LOL

all of the proform equipment, along with nordictrack, reebok, and so

on, are made by one manufacturer... www.iconfitness.com - therefore

they all have some of the same features... like a fan, light

handweights, pre-programmed workouts, speed and incline adjustable

on the fly with push of button on console. now that i go to

costco.com, i see the treadmill that you are talking about:

= & s=1

and it looks to have all of that stuff.

the only thing that i dont like about it is the 90 day warranty. a

one year warranty would be better. you can probably purchase an

extended warranty on it via the warranty card included inside the

box. or perhaps costco offers some sort of extra free store

warranty (the place that we bought our icon elliptical did so that

is how we ended up with one year parts/labour on it) or perhaps your

credit card will extend the warranty for free. also check on

costco's return and repair policies.

if you google 'proform 600S' for reviews (or go to www.proform.com)

also look for 'proform 6.0 GSX' which is the same machine, just a

different name.

and, if you do end up getting a treadmill or elliptical, please let

me know.... i have a gift for you!
