We went to SLC a couple weeks ago and got Logan out of his cast and

into his brace and it is holding him at 11 deg. They said it wasn't

necessary to take an x-ray out of the brace but I was realy curious

what the curve is out. He loves it. He doesn't want me to take it

off most of the time. I'm wondering if it's because he's had them

since he turned 1 and it's maybe a comfort thing??? I don't know but

it's cute. But it's nice being able to give him baths. So we got

excelent news there but also some bad news...

Logan had been pushed of of a little kiddy picnic table by one of

his little friends and broke his right arm. His fore arm looked like

a V. He had broken both bones in his forarm. So they got reset and a

brace put on and when we went to the shriners the next week they

took another x-ray before recasting it and the bones had shifted. So

they had to admit him and put him under to rebrake his arm and reset

the bones. I guess they had already started to stick together since

it had been 10 days already. But didn't seem to notice any pain

after Dr Roach messed with it. He just looks like an abused child

with the brace and arm cast. It was worst when he had the POP cast

on though. We got so many rude comments about him. oh well. They'll

get over it.

Dr Roach wants too see Logan again about his back in 6 months. Is

that normal to wear the brace for so long?

Thanks!

Jen
