Guest guest Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that we picked up Abby's brace yesterday at Children's Hospital. It was a long day but Abby did better than I ever expected her to do. She even took a 2 hour nap in her stroller wearing the brace!! I was so shocked. Today she has to wear it for a total of 6 hours, in 2 hour increments. When I first put it on her, all she wanted to do was sit and lay on the floor. Then I guess she had had enough because she just stood up and started walking around...and then running! I couldn't believe it. She's adjusting so well already. She's a little shaking and cries every now and then, but she's being such a good girl about it. I just wanted to thank all of you for your words of wisdom and helpful advice...not to mention moral support! We'll update you again sometime after November 28 when she goes back for her first x-rays after wearing the brace for a while. Hope you and all your little ones are doing well! and Abby Quote
