Image by FlamingText.com From: fitgrl222@...Reply- To: Subject: Wednesday- Slim & LeanDate: Wed, 6 Sep 2006 10:45:56 EDT I was awake most of the night feeling this yucky crap up in my nose and throat. Then my nose was stuffed up so I was breathing out my mouth and when I woke up my lips felt really gross (ok, too much info ) Anyway, yesterday my eyes, throat, ears and nose all itched like crazy. I was thinking allergies, but when I got up this morning it feels like a cold. Now my nose is running and I still feel that nasty stuff in between my nose and throat. I don't know what the heck it is. I still worked out of course. I did Slim & Lean. I wore my HRM and burned 328 calories, that just amazes me that I can do a non cardio workout and burn more calories then I would on some of my actual cardio workouts .. I won't do the break down of this workout because most of you know, but I used 25 lb for chest, 30 lb for back, 8 lbs for biceps (sounds wimpy, but I was frying by the end) 12 lb for triceps and 7 lb for shoulders. I also held a 17 lb weight during the plie squats and used 30 lbs on the squats and 12 lbs for the lunges ( I was really frying on that one) This workout is excellent if you want a total body workout with the cardio effect in there. My nose is still a mess, but hopefully by the days end I will figure out if its allergies or I do have a cold. I hope you all have good days today

Guest guest
, I hope you feel better soon. There's nothing worse than not being able to breathe properly. It sounds like allergies to me with the itchy eyes etc. that has maybe turned into a cold. Take care of yourself and get better soon. Wow! You burned a lot of calories, I guess I need to up my weights. I can't believe you say that your weights are wimpy, I'm taking it slow and using 3 and 5 lb weights. Now that is wimpy, I'm fried with those weights when I'm done. Now that's what I call wimpy!!!! Take care, Kerry I was awake most of the night feeling this yucky crap up in my nose and throat. There is a gal on another fitness list that I'm on and I'm wimpy compared to what she can lift. Heck, the Ripped workouts are probably a cake walk for her. But like I said, we are all different and at different fitness levels. I'm sure there are some people out there that can't even use weights. ~~

Guest guest
Good point Kassia, I'll have to try to really fry my muscles next time I work out. If you don't hear from me for a while it's because my arms and legs don't work anymore. LOL! I really like these Ripped workouts the high reps make my muscles pretty shaky. I do plan on upping my weights very soon, maybe even tomorrow. I need to buy some of those donut weights, I never thought of using them to work your way up to a higher weight. Thanks, Kerry wimpy is making wimpy excuses(there is a thread about this at the VF boards) not to exercise. wimpy is not taking your body to the limits and completely frying your muscles with your weight workouts. now thats what a call a strong woman who will only get better. kassia
