I think I will just go as long as I can go so I don't set myself up for disappointment if I have a little. Today was my first day and I didn't have a drop! I drank some water, not much, but it's a start. Anyone care to join me?Darcy

Hi Darcy, I think it would be better if I cut down on drinking it slowly because I drink OVER 3 cans a day and I'm afraid of getting caffiene withdrawal headaches...not pretty. lol you are tempting me. I'm thinking though "how can 2 cans of caffeine free root beer a day hurt me?" ok, I think I'm trying to make excuses again lol Like you, I know I don't drink enough water and lately since trying to increase my protein, I've added more skim milk to help add to my protein so when I would normally drink a glass of water I'm drinking the milk.

I used to drink tons of water, but always felt so bloated so then I decreased it a little, but it was always a challenge to get it all in. I think I need like 64 oz a day, that's a lot and hard to get in, at least for me.

How about after your fridg is empty? Hopefully I'm still doing okay. I used to drink 1800 glasses of water a day and didn't touch pop. Old habits came creeping back after time...ugh..Darcy

My big gripe is that I have to constantly go to the bathroom if I drink all that water. I know you are supposed to get used to it, but I haven't stuck it out long enough to give it a try... First I will stop drinking pop which will force me to drink SOME water. Then my next step will be to up my water.

I gave it up cold turkey over 7 years ago and don't miss it. I can't stand more than a sip and even that is too much. But you can do it Darcy and the rest of you!

I never had that issue and I used to go through a suitcase a week by myself, plus the soda I drank at work and for FF. So I probably averaged probably the equivalent of 6-7 cans a day.

Carolyn,

Why is it that women can't resist things that are on sale even if they

don't need them? LOL!

I've quit soda and candy bars and I don't miss either one.

Isn't that the way it goes? I rarely drink pop, maybe a two or three times per year and wouldn't you know it what did I have on the desk beside me while reading my email today? I promptly went and poured it down the sink. I didn't need it anyway.

Thanks,

Kerry
