Guest guest Posted April 15, 2006 Report Share Posted April 15, 2006 They put moleskin material around the rough edges of the cast...this process is called petaling because the moleskins are in the shape of petals (like a flower petal). It doesn't hurt when they do it, but most kids don't like it because they are being poked and prodded.
