NOT to say that anyone is a 'dummy'... it is just a bad name for an excellent video for absolute beginners. another suggestion is kathy smith's 'secret of a great body' (2 workouts, 1 for upper, 1 for lower) and her 'lift weights to lose weight'... i used both of those when i first started out. after doing the kathy smith workouts, i progressed to the FIRM... tracie long's 'maximum body shaping/sculpting' was a really good one for my level of fitness at the time. also, she will need 3 sets of weights to start with... i started with 1.5, 3 and 5 pound dumbells, or she can do the workouts without any weight at all at first until she gets used to the form of the exercises. also she can use things around the house for weights if she doesnt want to buy any right now... bottles of water, canned goods, books, etc. :*carolyn.
