Guest guest
Hi all, I am sure this has been discussed before but I am having trouble locating the information very easily. I have a patient with both zinc and copper deficiences (unsure of numbers off the top of my head). The patient is taking some supplement from a compound pharmacy recommended by her endocronologist that she is unsure what it contains. I have read that recommended supplementation for zinc is 15-30mg and copper 3-5mg which she could get from 2 Multivitamin/minerals but would you recommend additional supplementation for both or just one? I have not seen this patient in the office yet but I wanted to have a better idea of recs before I called her in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
