Guest guest Posted July 11, 2005 Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 When taking weights to failure, is it better to do it with a lighter weight dumbbell, like an 8 lb. one, that you might could do 40 or more reps on say a chest press, or a 15 lb. dumbbell, that you might could only do 20 or so reps before you can't go any more?
