Guest guest
Hi All: I have a 14 year old male patient with an L5/S1 Pars Defect w/ some swelling in the area (MRI results). He's an avid tennis player and plays basketball. Any recommendations for treatment plan would be appreciated. I need some backup :-) to help me tell him to stop playing for awhile. How often would you treat him? I'm thinking: Ultrasound, Adj. (particularly to aid in flex), exercises to do the same and massage to decrease lordosis and hip flexor tension. Anti-inflammatory diet and supplements. Any specifics you've had success with would be appreciated. Thanks, Surah Dr. Surah Hirsch, D.C. 2625 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Portland, OR 97214 503-238-9788
