Guest guest
Hi Jeanette, I hope Ray and Nick have a safe and successful trip to SLC next week. I'm not sure how long our appointment at the UofU will be on Wednesday. Will they still be in town Wednesday night? Let me know. <<...we spent some time at Primary the first and second time we were in SLC, are they as nice as all the staff at Shriners?>> We have had excellent care at PCMC. However, remember that it is a much larger facility with many more departments and people. The chances of finding someone having a " bad day " are greater there. We have had very few of those experiences, now 10 years later. Braydon has seen docs (and staff) in several depts - Ortho (our biggest dept.) urology, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, gastroenterology, ENT, cardiology, etc. Braydon thinks it is HIS hospital - no one else's. He doesn't mind the attention he gets when he goes to the hospital. Good thing. Next week will be his 18th major surgery. Take care and let me know about Ray and Nick's schedule. Carmell mom to Kara 19, idiopathic scoliosis, Blake 15, GERD and Braydon 10, VACTERL, GERD, DGE, Titanium Rib Project patient #137 (dbl implant 8/01), thoracic insufficiency, rib anomalies, congenital scoliosis (fusion surgery 5/96), missing coccyx, fatty filum/TC (released 4/99), anal stenosis, chronic constipation, horseshoe (cross-fused) kidney, dbl ureter in left kidney, ureterocele (excized 6/95), kidney reflux (reimplant surgery 1/97), neurogenic bladder, bilateral hip dysplasia, right leg/foot dyplasia, tibial torsion, clubfoot with 8 toes (reconstructed 2/96, 3/96, 1/97, 3/04), pes cavus, single umblilical artery, tonsil-adnoidectomy and ear tubes (3/98), etc. http://carmellb-ivil.tripod.com/myfamily/ __________________________________ Start your day with - Make it your home page! http://www./r/hs
Guest guest
Hi Carmell, Thanks, I talked to them earlier, they are in SLC, and check in to the hospital tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately, their flight leaves early Wed. afternoon, so maybe we'll catch you next time. Good luck with Braydon's surgery (18!!!) I'll say a prayer for him tonight. Sincerely, Jeanette > > Hi Jeanette, > > I hope Ray and Nick have a safe and successful trip to > SLC next week. I'm not sure how long our appointment > at the UofU will be on Wednesday.
