Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 No rotation is awesome. What wonderful news. How old is Jake? I remember always telling me that Ms. Mehta usually has them do more casts even after they are straight to make sure the spine still has time to get used to growing in the right direction. Guest guest Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 , I can't remember if I met you in Erie at the conference in November or not. I am so glad to here that Jake and you guys got such wonderful news. How big was his curve to start with and how old was he when he got the first cast. I believe my daughter Lily will take the same route to be cured just a little longer in the casts than Jake. I am so happy for you guys. Guest guest Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 , The highest Jake's curve got was 33. After 2 months of parttime bracing it went down to 28. That is where the curve was at when he got his first cast in Nov when he was 15 months old. We did not get the chance to chat, but I do remember your beautiful little Lily! Think about it, when Jake gets older, you will have conversations and pictures of the path you took. As fifteen years from now, he'll not remember, you'll be able to show him how Mom took care of it. Guest guest Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 V., FABULOUS news on little Jake!! I am glad that Dr. wants to be double sure that the casts arent removed prematurely.
