Guest guest
Evanlee (7 mos.) has finally begun rolling over in her cast. She was doing it at 4 mos. prior to casting but she has finally developed the strength to roll with the cast too (YEAH EVANLEE). Her twin sister is is now standing while holding on to couch or chair and is saying mama and baba, sorry dad no dada yet. It's great to see developments when they are so little and in a cast. Rolling over earlier was great but when you haven't seen it for 3 months it's actually better than the first time. , mom of Evanlee & is (7 mos.)jviv314 <jviv314@...> wrote: This week Jake sat at the dinner table for the first time in his booster seat instead of his highchair. He also insisted on using his spoon by himself, and actually ended up getting most of the food in his mouth! Very independent and very stubborn. I guess it goes with the terrority for 17 month olds!!!!!Amazed, mom to and Jake DSL Something to write home about. Guest guest
Aww that's amazing!! That's great she is communicating what she wants Sent from my iPhoneOn Mar 9, 2011, at 7:34 PM, dougandbecky@... wrote: I've only been on the list for a few weeks but wow ... What a great resource! Kylie just turned 2 on Saturday and other than her curve, we've had a very healthy, happy miracle girl! Because we just celebrated her Birthday its been a time of wonder and awe at how quickly she has grown. We went to meet with her specialist a week before her birthday and on the way home we stopped at a restaurant to get a bite to eat. Once we were seated, She blew me away and had a full, grammatically correct conversation with me and it went like this: K - How are you? Mom Fine, How are you? K- Fine. I want ice cream Mom - We have to eat first. K - I WANT ice cream please. Mom - After we have our lunch, we can order ice cream. K- PLEASE I want ice cream PLEASE Mom - lunch first K. PLEASE Please PLEASE. The most impressive thing about this, is that it was all done in ASL (American Sign Language) not a spoken word!! I was impressed with her articulation, but more impressed she kept her begging private!! Becky, Mom to 18, 16, Brett 14, Kylie 2 and ne 8 months. Step mom to Kayla 16 and 20.
