<How can I weed through these messages to get only ones

> that jar my interest, I just cant keep up with the hundreds of

emails I get>

<you can go to the list on the web..and edit membership...for

Digest.....so you'll just get a few emails a day

that will help but the last few weeks (since around the adult

recipe thing) i have been getting up to three digests per day

that's 25 e-mails each and it can be tiresome to wade through

the one-liners ( " me toos " and " thank yous " ) especially when

people forget to trim their posts so there is not a lot of old

message attached to the bottom (or to check the archives first,

though now these stupid ads have made things a lot more

difficult).

maybe listmom can post a short reminder about trimming, OTs,

one-liners, going off-list for private conversations, being more

careful with subject lines? i think you can even put your short

reply or " thank you " in the subject line and not have to type any

text in the message. not to be mean cause it's fun to see how

the tone of the list changes from month to month but with a list

this size i think it's a kind of courtesy to each other, what do you

think ladies?
