That's cool! I didn't know Dommerholt was associated with the Stecco material. I picked up his book last fall and found it to be a pretty good synopsis of the current evidence on myofascial trigger points. W. Snell,

Anyone planning on attending the Fascial Manipulation seminars in Eugene and has not signed up yet should do so ASAP. I just received an email from Jan Dommerholt of Myopain Seminars, the sponsor of the course. There are only 5 people signed up and the course is in danger of cancellation. If anyone has questions about the course or the technique, please let me know. I would also appreciate knowing reasons for the lack of interest.

The fascial system is an intimate part of the neuromusculoskeletal apparatus of the body, understanding this system gives us one more way of analyzing and treating the problems we see in our offices daily. The Fascial Manipulation system of assessment and treatment is evidence based, goes beyond trigger point theory and maps out very plausible causes for referred pain, chronic and acute myofascial pain, chronic compensatory patterns of movement, instability of musculoskeletal structures and chronic patterns of subluxation. It dovetails extremely well with chiropractic technique and gives us one more powerful tool in battling the scourge of pain and dysfunction.
