Guest guest
There seems to have been flurry of new documents from DH in April, most of which passed me by at the time. This guide seems particularly useful, although I have only had time to skim it. Lots of clear definitions and explanations of things that are quite generic, like current and anticipated commissioning structures and duties, including Joint Strategic Health Needs Assessments, Joint Health and Wellbaing Strategies, a good analysis of different strategies for asking about domestic violence/safety and a section bout measuring effectiveness, including outcomes, outputs and 'social return on investment' which is a new on me, but seems a very helpful thing to incorporate into commissioning plans.Attached, or download from http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Publicationsandstatistics/Publications/PublicationsPolicyAndGuidance/DH_125900I will be interested in comments from people who have more experience of working in this field.. best wishes Cowleysarahcowley183@...http://myprofile.cos.com/S124021COn
