Hi, my boyfriend of five years has had Tourette's since he hit

puberty. He only has one other friend with Tourette's but his

friend's is mild compared to his. He has the vocal tics..think

called copperlalia and echolarlia (know not spelled right). He cant

work because of it, I don't work either, I have severe ocd and body

dysmorphic disorder. He just seems so depressed lately. He cant go

in public cause he says nigger and other noises...plus he does a tic

when he drives where he jerks the wheel..im trying to learn to

drive..im 22 and had phobia of driving for awhile but its not safe

to drive with him anymore. I love him alot but can be frustrating

cause he tics the things im afraid of..i have skin phobia and he

will tic wart and stuff like that all the time...he also is a

shopaholic buys things to feel better about himself..mostly video

games..you wouldnt believe the collection lol. but if it wasnt for

him I wouldnt be here. I have had rough time with worrying about

looks and fears of death that previous boyfriends not even my own

family understands. I hate how people stare at him but not everyone

understands tourett's. You see shows with children with Tourett's

but hardly adults. He (Casey) is trying hypnosis...not really

working and he feels uncom woman who is doing it is black, but she

is understanding. I'll encourage him to write he is a sweet guy and

definely a genius! he has taken orap (another bad spelling) but made

him vomit after every meal..hes on risperdal, geodon (which i took

for ocd and horrible sife effects like insomnia and no hunger)
