From readings it has been mentioned that gums and resins were aromatically still present at Tutankhamens tomb. Newly opened and examined by the on site chemists we were told they were types of essential oils in a base similar to our own jojoba plant (but this from the ancient Egytian delta region)... they were...very musky.. to my nose...and very pleasant. We were not allowed to talk while inside these tombs so as to only release a minimal amount of CO2 to protect the walls art work still in full color- and of course we touched nothing- the chemist in his protective suit and plastic gloves waved a few of the jars under my nose. I was SO EXCITED!!! Andree www.essentialsoapsinc.com Andree That is an incredible story...... something that will stay with you for the rest of your life and only something that many of us would dream of.......fantastic. You mention that the jars were opened..... did the chemists mention whether they were sealed before they opened them and what did they seal it with? Again thanks for such an exciting and amazing story... loved it Janita --------------------------------- To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Security Centre.
