I have elevated levels of iron in my blood. I am wondering how many people with

mold issues have elevated levels of iron in their blood as well.

throws other things off. So, yes, I've heard of it. He also says to

deprive them of sugar and moisture. Sugar, moisture and iron. You

don't want to avoid all iron like you would avoid all sugar though I'm

sure. I don't know how low of iron you can go without other things

going wrong. He wasn't specific. I take it as meaning don't take

extra iron and take 'some extra' zinc, like one zinc tablet a day. I

wish there was some way to be more specific though. I haven't heard

this mentioned very much though.

I don't know. I wish doctors would study vitamins more. They are

so much more important to your health than drugs. Anyway, zinc

pushes copper out of your body as well as iron I believe and even

though too much copper isn't good, it plays a vital role in many

body systems. It's hard to know what is too much. However taking

extra zinc frequently does help the immune system as well as Vitamin

C. Anybodys guess as to how much. Too many supplements are hard on

the liver that has to get rid of excess just like it gets rid of

drug and other things. I guess you play around with it and see how

you feel at different doses, or have someone do a nutrition study on

you. That is only a snapshot of that day but if you eat about the

same, it should give a good snapshot.

Some interesting information. Zinc and copper make electricity?

Also it is interesting how one nutrient or mineral, can push out

another one, thus kind of a chelating action. I believe I heard

Vitamin C can displace lead and also calcium.
