save CHS 1st Tues June 6th -- (10)

Dear all,

It has been a few weeks since the rush for National Healthy Schools Day. I am

writing to suggest that we re-convene by conference call to review our past NHSD

efforts and the upcoming opportunities by conference call.

First Tuesday, June 6th, at 4 PM Eastern Time and again at 7 PM Pacific Time

1-800-238-0210, passcode 443-952#

AGENDA

a.. Self Introductions

b.. Review Natl Healthy Schools Day 2004, 2005, 2006: what works (fyi, old

press releases archived on our website)

c.. Volunteers/suggestions on updating National Position Statement

d.. Update on Lessons Learned/WHO's IN CHARGE reports

e.. Set date(s) and discuss possible agendas for December annual meeting.

Agenda items that have been mentioned include: sciences of IAQ/IEQ, NIOSH- occ

health research agenda, children with disabilities and environmental needs,

food/obesity/exercise, Gov or Mayor 'platforms' or 'proclamations' that are

ready for campaign roll out. For scheduling purposes, the US EPA IAQ Tools for

Schools Symposium will be Dec 4-5-6, in DC)

And closing with my own personal news, I will be in AZ this coming week to

enjoy a long visit with my first ever grandchild , now 20 days old!

have a safe and healthy holiday weekend--
