Day 25 of 84~~BFL~~ 12/23/04

Just wanted to say morning as I am headed to the gym in about 10

minutes....

Today is Cardio at the new gym and want to get there before many are

there....

Here is my food today:

Calories: 1612

Fat: 85 50%

Carbs: 65 13%

Protein: 146 38%

Hope you all have a great day and I will be back when I get back

from the gym!!!

Good morning, Juls!

This week hasn't been as great for me as the end of last week was, but I'm

hanging in there. I should have thrown away the baking/candy that I made on my

free day. It wasn't good looking enough to give out, but it was plenty

edible...my downfall is definitely my environment. If it's here and I know it,

it's almost like a magnet. I'm definitely first in line when they create a

sugar-aholics anonymous!

I had a great UBWO yesterday morning, then felt immensely motivated and did some

major cleaning, laundry, picking up and even cooked a tiny turkey dinner last

night. This morning, however, I have awoken to some major congestion and

achiness. I'm not a happy camper about it, because I have to get on a plane

tomorrow morning. ugh... I've worked out with the sniffles before and been

fine. But this is more than just the sniffles so I'm going to let my body rest

for the upcoming travelling trauma that will be our Christmas holiday.

Listen to this - flying to Alabama tomorrow, 6am flight arriving there at 10:30

or so am. Then straight to a car for a 2-1/2 hr drive to Georgia for a family

gathering. Then the 2 hr drive back to Alabama sometime tomorrow evening. So

that's 9 hrs or so of sitting on a plane or in a car, with a 2 and 5 year old...

Then Saturday it's another 20 minute drive to a different relatives house. Not

bad.... if I feel OK I might even jog while I'm there, since I used to live

across the street and know the routes. Then Sunday it's a birthday party for my

son at my in-law's house. Monday might be a day of rest.. who knows. Tuesday

my brother-in-law and his wife are leaving, so I'm sure there's a trip to the

airport in there for someone - hopefully me and DH so we can have some kid-free

time :-). Then we leave on Wednesday. Phew... Wish me luck! I have a bunch

of bars, Myoplex Lite shake mixes, Go Mix, Tuna pouches, etc.. ready to pack

with me so I can stay a little on track anyway...

Okay ladies and gents... I totally ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did the 20 minute HIIT and burned 223 calories and distance was

1.58... well I went for another 10 minutes so for 30 minutes I

burned 303 calories and distance was 2.24... well was I done? Heck

no.... I went another 15 minutes as the person next to me knew me

and we chatted so for 45 minutes I burned 413 calories and distance

3.42 miles............ WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO

I didn't take advantage of the sauna as it was busy but now that I

will going there until January 6th FREE I will be taking advantage

of it....

I also did the 3 rounds of ABCamp and then did some oblique crunches

on one of the items that was there....

The lady next to me ran her 20 minutes but then asked about my

program... in the end she said, " I have heard of that workout

program. I hear it is tough. You have come such a long way. " Put a

little smile on this chickie's face....

Okay I am waxed so going to go feed my muscles and see what else the

day brings me....

Jen hang in there... the holidays will be here and gone before you

know it and the candy/goodies will be gone... Sounds like you are

going to be quite busy the next few days.... Hope your travels are

safe!! Sounds like you and DH will need some alone time!!! Be safe

and Merry Christmas!!

I can not wait to get my hands on this book and make it kick my butt!!! I

love following these posts. Do does anyone have pictures somewhere on here

that I can see? What made some of you choose BFL opposed to the thousand

other programs out there? Just curious.

Okay... eating didn't go as planned today.... I didn't cheat but

just didn't eat all that I had planned... Not enough calories or

carbs but dang... Just wasn't as hungry....

Here is the updated food numbers:

Calories: 1040

Fat: 44 40%

Carbs: 39 11%

Protein: 121 49%

The percentage of fat looks good compared to normal... Also protein

looks good also... Just finishing up with 160 ounces of water and

then I think I will treat myself with a diet rite.... tangerine

sounds good ;)
