Guest guest
-, good for you, Im glad that your exposure to mold has not got you to the point where traveling is the last thing you fell like doing. I'm a bit puzzled, if you have cronic fatique, where do you get the energy? refresh my memory, weren't you one of eric's friends that not long ago didn't believe that you were getting ill from mold exposure? In my state the best advoidence is keeping windows shut and keeping your air conditioner clean, because of MCS and liveing in a state where mold is abundant. here, after 3 or 4 days of rain, the air smells like mold. and did you know that some toxins put out by certain molds can remain toxic for years even when they are dry? do you know that some very toxic molds are found in sand and dirt? dry and windy days can stir up molds and make than air borne.cant say that I want to increase my risk of exposure to any toxins by traveling. flying, and driving in polluted traffic and getting stuck in traffic jams makes me ill.seems to me that even if the end spot is free of mold, just getting there for people who suffer MCS,CFS and other mold illnesses might be so very draining on what little energy they have,it's not a option. also, I have read that for people with allergies, new exposures in other areas can cause new allergies. point I trying to make is that mold exposure effects everyone somewhat different depending on types , amounts and lenght of exposure and their ability to fight off toxins. traveling for some could make them very ill. -- In , Beith <p_beith@...> wrote: > > I am amazed at how many of the messages here relate > to mold! Guest guest
, You stated that you were well at certain locations but not at others. That means to me that you are still sick from mold exposure no matter where you go. It may appear that on certain days that you feel " free " from symptoms but trust they are always there. Just some days harder than others. Please take care of yourself and get out of any moldy area. Sincerely, Marcie Beith <p_beith@...> wrote: I am amazed at how many of the messages here relate to mold! I just want to remind people that mold problems can change with location, and with the type of mold. I have CFS and found out (thanks to ) that I can be healthy during the wet season, in Fortaleza, Brazil by avoiding air conditioning and staying on a high floor (thus avoiding mold, I assume). I was well, period during the very dry months in Fortaleza. I am very healthy in the Yucatan and Cuba, which are hot, humid and moldy. I was even well in Cuba when there was mold in my room. I am not well, period, in Buenos Aires or Toronto. My point is that I highly recommend travel and experimentation for those who can! - . Guest guest
In answer to your question, " Who " : I only recently learned that mold seems to bring back my symptoms, in certain locations. There have been other times and places where I was very healthy without avoiding mold. -.
