" Fragrances? " Do you mean fragrance oils? I only have experience with

EOs, absolutes, concretes and natural aromatics, and they have never

clouded jojoba. If you're using synthetic FOs, they are often a

concoction of chemicals, maybe an extender, and that may be what's

clouding it. Probably, even.

Can you tell us what you used? If it was a natural aromatic, we'll

have to look at the situation again. I've never heard of naturals

clouding jojoba before, hence the questions.

Hey guys....... this is an interesting conundrum as when I started out .....

the incis for disclosing info when marketing the 'language' that was insisted

was for example

parfum for perfume and (had to be) and the actual terminology for the

complete was termed as 'fragrance' ...... totally daft... but there you are.....

thus we are now coming into this confusion of descriptive info....... any

thoughts?

-- Cloudy Jojoba oil

I recently mixed fragrances in 100% jojaba oil base. It came out

Cloudy (in comparision to canola oil which allows a clear result). I

know I can strain it with a coffee filter but fear I will compromise

the fragrance composition. Is there a dispertion solution or

chemical<EEK!> that could help with this?

Hello na.

I use almost exclusivly Johoba oil It is what I started with & have had

little or no trouble with it, I must ask you one thing ( & I'm not being

picky) When you say fragrance what is your Definenition As I only only use

essential oils So Anything else I would not be the best person to help you

as the only " solid " experance I have in perfume making is blending jojoba

with essentials, for the rest I am only just past grass roots, & would not

like to lead you up the garden path.

what springs to mind is that your johoba oil is cold (as johoba is a wax &

not really a oil at all it will set solid & become a buttery yellow if left

in the cold.) perhaps if you tried putting it in a warmer place things

would change.

Essentialy yours Gill
