Guest guest
I never thought about my exposure to mold and dental problems but I did have three root canals in a short period of time!I I also had a terrible craving for sweets, mostly chocolate and a taste in my mouth like I had eaten dirt!! Since I've been away from my workplace and feeling better I no longer have the sweet tooth or the many dental problems. Haven't even had a common cold in over 2 yrs.!! Sue This happened to me.. I can share what I learned from my experience: After my sewer back up and an amazing toxic mold exposure, my gums were inflamed, and hurt terribly, and my teeth felt loose.. I had chronic diarreah, and high fever as well. My gums were receeding at a rapid pace. I kept craving sweets. That was the bacteria wanting to be fed. They thrive on sugar. I went to my dentist who told me I had the onset of periodontal disease. I was shocked because it happened so suddenly. My doctor told me the gums and stomach lining are of the same type of tissue. If one is effected with bacteria and mycotoxins, it makes sense that so will the other. If you have chronic diarreah, you need to manage ASAP that or the bacteria can spread to your gums. In order to heal my gums: I had to have an expensive series of planing and scaling sessions, which made me feel very ill as bacteria was released, but it saved my gums and my teeth. It was worth it's weight in gold.

It was worth it's weight in gold. My prescription from my dentist is: peppermint based toothpaste, CO Q10 - 200mg /day. This is very important. My doctor put me on a special diet. He said, " no sweets or sugars of any kind.. eat vegetables, onions, garlic, and cayenne pepper if you can handle it. " My gums are healing very well now. Hope this helps for anyone going through this horrible ordeal.
