I choose patterns that aren't too complicated for me so I don't get bored or lose my patience. Usually I have several projects going at once, just so I can take a break from them. Those dishcloths...really, it's an obsession. I love making them, and can just knit them absentmindedly, don't even have to think about the pattern, because it repeats. I do some crochet, but for some reason I prefer knitting. That lapghan for my Grandmother was crocheted. PS...it'll be a while before I start another pair of socks! Re: My knitting blog Hey ! I just went & looked at your goodies, how cool. You have the patience of a saint. I havent knitted in...decades. Used to crochet a lot, its much faster, and I could watch tv at the same time... but you dont get that smooth lay as with knitting. I have 2 of those dishcloths, and love them.
