Hi Anya, No way did I mean to suggest that all of yours and/or Ayala's efforts were only directed at boosting your own perfumes (which would not be a crime either) -- that's so obviously not the case and I did try to acknowledge the amazing reach of your efforts on behalf of us all in a post here the other day. You've been primo PR agents in putting us all on the map, and I don't mean just the Frapper map, cute as that is. Thanks for your response that puts the AC line in perspective - and yours, too, JoAnne. 'Scuse me if I'm missing any others, I've just scanned the new digest so far. e

Happy New Year to my fellow Natural Perfumers! Keep up your good work, diligent studying of the art and science of natural perfumery and inecting the world around you with your passion for scent! May we all leave a trail of fabulous scent and memories everywhere we go! Love, Ayala www.AyalaMoriel.com www.SmellyBlog.com

I swear, girl, I still think I won something in > one of your contests and never got it, but my fuzzy memory can't hold > you to it, LOL. No more prizes for you this time, dear! I just happened to pick you as the best new perfume house of the year! > We're getting there, aren't we, Ayala? Just think this time last year > Luca was slamming us, now he's coming around, the perfumistas are > " getting " naturals and writing so beautifully about it, Mandy is in > Bendels, magazines are picking up on it, etc. 2007 will be a > groundbreaking year for us, I predict. It's quite incredible, isn't it? It feels so great when the fruit of our labour are starting to show up (and also show off LOL). I am really excited about this year. I am planning to finally move the studio out of the house, but this may take a few good months depending on how fast I find a place. Things are really coming along well. Just to think that my company's logo is printed on the movie tickets for the advanced screening of " PERFUME " in Vancouver as one of the sponsors is quite surreal to be honest... I will be at the theatre with a table of my own, giving away samples and business cards and signing people up to my mailing list, and also there will be a draw for two of my perfume (one each night: Film Noir and Razala). To think that I will be co-promoting with such a major film release, even if just locally in Canada is quite fascinating... I will let you all know how this turns out. (I may even be able to sell my own perfumes there, but I'm not sure, I know the theatre owner, but still it has to be appropriate for the setting so we'll see). Happy New Year! Cheers! I'll put your perfume premier info up asap. What is the date, details? Oh, Anya, that would be fantastic! It's on two dates - January 3rd and 4th, and there will be a draw on each night to win Razala and Film Noir! I will email you more info though and maybe a scan of the ticket just for fun? Will do that today... Thanks a lot! Ayala
