Are you sure it is pollen? Musty odor smells like mold..

Does he irrigate his sinuses?

You can wash out your sinuses with saline solution several times a day and

it helps,

although I have found that even with irrigation I still get blisters in

moldy environment, but it reduces the irritation substantially. (Make sure

he doesnt inhale the water, blow it out!)

Also, you could get a BIG HEPA cleaner like one of the Whirlpool Whispure

models..

Thanks for you response, We are both ill from mold in several

homes. We are currently living with different relatives. We were

together and I could't handle his mother's place so I went to my

brother's house. I didn't notice anything musty and I always do, so

perhaps my husband is getting more sensitive then I am. It could be

mold of course, but he had most of the trouble outside or when the

windows were open, and I am fine out there. I do the saline

spray. When you say irrigate do you mean with those nebulizers. I

have one, but I couldn't figure out how to do it with saline. I use

to get medication to use with it. I do use the saline spray since I

had sinus surgery. It is just creepy we are having different

problems at different homes. He will visit this weekend and I hope

he can handle it. It is hard not being together. Thanks for you

concern. It has been such a long road.
