It cost a lot but its essential to track down devastating diseases! Now Sam has to be on a diet for gallbladder, there is a low fat diet made by Pedigree, I do not have to smell turkey boiling all my life! Thats terrible being ill from such a young age isn't it... What is a smoke screen??? Can't they take care of the cataracts and glaucoma??? Keep us posted as to how you are doing... I take a blood thinner for the blood clots. The only life I know is having something wrong with me. I got used to it over the years. I put the black plastic stuff that is on windows to keep the sun out. I don't know the name of this stuff. I got it out of the camper. I was lucky I had enough for 3 layers on the computer screen. Bob turned the glare thing as far as it would go. It wasn't enough so I thought of this stuff and went to the camper and got it off a window, My eyes can be taken care of. I will have a time where I can't see until the cataracts are ready to be removed. They have to get what is called "ripe" before they can be taken off. I have been told it is nothing to worry about. Guest guest Posted December 1, 2004 Report Share Posted December 1, 2004 Hi JC, My hubby's Mother and Grmother both had cataracts removed... They were fine with the proceeder... My Prayers are with ya for a good outcome... How long do they say it takes cataracs to rippen??? I had never heard of this before... I think I know what your talking about with the film cover...
