Guest guest
! I am so glad that they found the polyps and remove them, speedy recovery to you! I have always refused a colonoscopy for reasons that most likely are fear, my husband had one long ago and the said it was so painful, perhaps times have changed that was in the 60's. I have to get brave enough to make an appointment, the doctor did do a cat scan of my bowel last year, he knew that I was hopeless a case as he will ever have. Guest guest
Anne, I forgot to tell you I hold many others hands while they are having their FIRST Colonoscopy, even my Mother In Laws. They all felt silly after it was done and they also liked the Happy Drugs too. Trust me, NO PAIN! 30 minutes and you go home! And sleep off the happy drugs! acarpe6119@... wrote: ! Guest guest
I was shocked at how easy it was to have one. I had heard such horror stories about them and was scared to death of having my first one. I had my first done last year. Betty Ann Re: Intestinal polyps Dear Anne, There is no pain in todays colonoscopy. It is really mush more easy than a dentist visit...I have had 12 over the past 5 years and you feel nothing but the rush of happy drugs before the test is started. If you wish, you could watch the test from the monator but I always sleep right through them. There is No after pain and no during pain. The happy drugs make sure of that. My father also had the test back in the day, and it was awful then. I am the biggest chicken in the world but the scopes are easy, I promise! And they save lives like mine~Feel free to chat with me about them anytime. This is something I can tell people about! LOL Sincerely,
Guest guest
Dear , I'm so sorry that you had to have such a drastic surgery... But Thank-fully they found it in time... Good advice on getting checked... Thank-You for telling everyone... ((( Angel Hugs ))) Helen Thank you for this very important information! I had: Colectomy Surgical removal of the large bowel. If I had not got food poisioning, They would never have found my cancerous polops. This was a awful surgery, but it saved my life! Everyone over 40 really does need to be checked! The scope is so easy and painless and worth every penny to have done. I have one every 6 months.
