Barb,

Lake Tahoe gets allot of snow in the winter and is surrounded by mountains. It

changes to a ski resort. It is an awesome ski resort, by the way! :-) Traveling

in the winter months is difficult, because it is hard to drive through the

mountains to get there.

Las Vegas is pretty is some areas.. depends where you are at. It's nice to see

the view of the mountainous landscape. It's nice for relaxation.

The air in most casinos is bad because of the cigarette smoke. There are smoke

free places you can go to. Some casinos have outdoor things to see that make it

great for sightseeing.

How about Lake Tahoe? Much prettier than Las Vegas. I don't know how

the air would stack up but aren't they in a similar climate belt?

Cindi is right the moutainview whether its the east or west side fo the

valley is gorgeous.

Westside the moutains cast a myriad of colors that it looks as if they are

a mural around the valley. In winter with the snow capping is a treat

also.

BUt its a valley and if there is no wind, the air quality for those with

asthma is dreadful. At times there actually is a brownish haze...one

always hopes for s slight wind to keep it clear here.

With the higher influx of people moving and bringing their *bsack home

greenery* has casued pollen and hayfever levels to be quite high at times.

Asthetically, the view is gorgous, either from the top of Mt CHarleston

looking down upon all the lights, or actually living where I am, on a man

made lake in the middle of the city, that has a very peaceful and " I can;t

beleive I live in Vegas feeling " where the outside house lights twinkle on

the water or people transversing the lake in their little boats.
