Are you trying to avoid the outbreaks because of the discomfort she is

experiencing? The Acyclovir to prevent outbreaks is not

such a bad

option if you are worried about her following a protocol. It

is category B

in pregnancy. I am suggesting this based on the fact that she came

in

complaining of other issues and the Acyclovir may help until you can

get the headaches under control.
