Guest guest
Hello everyone, i'm very new to the art of natural perfumery, and i'm currently interested in perfume oils. I have been mixing thusfar with fractionated coconut oil as the base. I have several essential oils. I am just going to ask all the questions i have here, and desperately hope that someone with knowledge will help me =] 1. When mixing the essential oil blend for perfume oil, is it better to do it in the oil or without oil and then dilute it? 2. I have japanese peppermint which i wanted to try to use, but everytime i mix it with the essential oils, it overpowers everything (even if only 1 drop is used). Any suggestions on how to dilute the peppermint? 3. I bought corriander essential oil and it really smells horrible. I got it from new directions aromatics. Is that a good supplier for natural perfumery product? What is the best place to go to for such products. I currently want to get my hands on bees wax abs and bitter almond, are both natural? where should i get them from as my current supplier does not have these? If you can answer 1 or all of these, it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you sincerely, Sherif (T.O)
