Guest guest
, I couldn't take CSM since it caused digestive disturbances, so my doctor recommended alpha lipoic acid, which I started. I have lead in my blood too which it has been studied to help eliminate. There are studies out there on ALA you can read up on. I think (??) Dr Schaller here recommends it or others here have used it too. > > I have some detox pathway deficiencies and other > health issues but checking in now 4 months post > being on CSM. Guest guest
I would like to know what kind of side effects some of you have experienced? Those who are not listed. From what I have been reading about Cholestyramine it is one of the less dangerous medicines on the market today. --Since it just goes through your digestive system and not into your bloodstream - as such. I know about the side effects - constipation and heartburn, but the other I haven't heard of and I am really interested to hear about them. I have only heard of side effects related to the gastro mental system since the medicine goes through it. When I have too much exposure around me to handle, the CSM doesn't help in any other way than helping the body to get those toxin out of the body instead of circulating again and again. The symptoms I experience are not side effects although I am sick on CSM. The difference is that my symptoms disappear sooner than not on CSM. Like mentioned - unfortunately, CSM is not a perfect healer you should rely on - I think we (mold victims) should in the first place avoid all mycotoxins and rely on CSM to help us get rid of the toxins we get from re-exposures. Since I have had the chance to get almost total avoidance from mycotoxins my MCS has decreased unbelievable, I can even smell a perfume from a distance and actually like it. Three months ago every smell made me so sick that I was lying in bed in pain. CSM has helped me to get my health back and my MSH levels up. Guest guest
Myglas33, I experienced lots of vomiting after less than a week on CSM. I had had stomach ulcers not long before that and Candidas infection that I was trying to get over. It may be my digestive system was just terribly irritated by the tiny insoluable fibers in CSM. > > I would like to know what kind of side effects some of you have > experienced? People would use the facilities, and then spray that nasty stuff they call " AIR FRESHENER " . I would be working and suddenly feel nauseous and my vision would go dim. I would be forced to leave until it dissipated. I would sneak into the bathroom and throw away all of what I call " Stink Spray " from under the counter, and later would often hear someone calling " What happened to all the spray? We just had a full case and now it's all gone - this is impossible " . It is difficult to go from liking nothing better than the presence of a perfumed woman - to being forced to flee the very object of your desire, and then being called a liar and that your behavior is all imaginary. It was stunning to find out that persistent mycotoxin avoidance allowed me to enjoy perfume again and take pleasure instead of pain by proximity to tantalizing perfumed vixens. It was MIND BOGGLING that I thought that MCSers would want to know about this - and find out that the very people who had the greatest need to know were the ones who most strenuously rejected the concept, - even more vigorously than denier doctors who would just turn and walk away muttering " crazy " . Guest guest
, CSM will chelate important minerals out of your body and that could cause problems. It hard to know how much of a mineral supplement to take to offset that but you'd need a good source of minerals. Minerals are chelated with any agent that would chelate heavy metals. Zinc, copper, iron and other important minerals are metals too, and chelator can't tell a beneficial metal over a damaging metal. > > The CMS did not cause me GI issues except a little > bloating.
