Guest guest
Lots of egg whites mentioned--what do you do with the yolks? Or are there eggbeaters that are just whites? Thanks, Debbie the Newbie
Guest guest
Egg Beaters are just the whites. 1 cup of Egg Beaters has 24g of protein. Six large egg whites have 21g of protein. If you're going to mix yolks and whites, most people have 1 whole egg plus an additional 4-5 whites (20-24g protein). I just pitch any yolks I don't use. Although, I'm sure there are more crafty types on the board who have found some use for them? egg yolks Lots of egg whites mentioned--what do you do with the yolks? Guest guest
I give the yolks to my dog, cat and rats. They love them! -Raine You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. Guest guest
I add any egg yolks that I have left over to my dog's dinner. I make her up pet mince with pasta etc, the fat in the yolks give her a lovely shiny coat. There's one idea!
