Guest guest
This is the same kind of attitude that is killing millions of workers in China, the factory floor of the world. Until those who are doing this to people - knowingly - are held personally and criminally responsible, there will be no action. Workers are seen as more and more 'expendable' in the marketplace these days, so getting any kind of improvement, be it improved working conditions, safety regulations, or overtime pay (or even regular pay - salaries) is going to be very difficult. We need to get off of this race to the bottom, because if we don't, we are going to kill ourselves. The big question is: Do the people live to work, or work to live. In a future where people's labor is no longer needed, and they are only needed as consumers (if they have money) who wins? Is government of by and for the People, or is it of by and for the Corporation? > > " Everyone knew that the diacetyl was harmful, " said Herrera, a father of two > who contends in a lawsuit that his employer never warned him of inhalation > hazards.
