Some people think that " mold and mites are everywhere, " so why try

to do anything about them? " The truth is that these organisms are

not growing everywhere, " says Sharon Schumack, Health Education

Coordinator for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New

England Chapter. " But when they do proliferate indoors, people may

suffer from the symptoms of allergies and asthma. "

Learn what these adversaries looks like, how and where they

grow, and how to defeat them, at a talk on Thursday, April 20 at 7

p.m. by C. May, indoor air quality investigator and author

of " My House is Killing Me! " and " The Mold Survival Guide. "

It will be held at Pediatric Specialists, 132 Central St., Suite

116, Foxboro, (enter at rear of building), sponsored by AAFA/New

England and the Southeastern MA Food Allergy Parent Support Group.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, or

a free " Asthma/Allergy Action Card, " call the Asthma & Allergy

Foundation of America/New England Chapter, toll-free at 1-877-2-

ASTHMA.
