Guest guest
Angel, I read that washing fruits and veggies with water that you have put some vitamin C powder into will help to kill microbes on food. I guess that is washing fruit and veggies with citric acid. barb > > ******I use grapeseed extract diluted in water to clean ALL my fresh > veggies, even those packaged in bags.....ewwwwww can't imagine eating those and NOT > washing them with my GSP......:::shudder:::: > > Angel Huggzzz > or Angel >
Guest guest
Sorry this is in two parts. I remember now tip to soak lettuce in vinegar/water to bring back crispness and realize that would kill microbes also. It does bring back crispness in lettuce also. > > ******I use grapeseed extract diluted in water to clean ALL my fresh
Guest guest
I used ascorbic acid in the powder form when I use to do a lot of canning and freezing. I used it as a perservative instead of the chemicals in the supermarket. It is logical that it will clean as well as preserve. > > > > ******I use grapeseed extract diluted in water to clean ALL my > fresh > > veggies, even those packaged in bags.....ewwwwww can't imagine > eating those and NOT > > washing them with my GSP......:::shudder:::: > > > > Angel Huggzzz > > or Angel > > >
