Guest guest
Nice to hear from you Pamz! Welcome to this group! I love to do spa- ish things with my yolks as well, and yes, an active hunting dog probably uses up all the energy he or she takes in and then some, so in that case that is great! Diane, my feeling is that a 14 year old dog has made it that far for a reason, a FANTASTIC owner! If he (or she?) doesn't have any tummy problems than a couple a week would be fine. I feel like cooked is better than raw, but you can try both to see how the doggie tolerates it. If your dog loves the heck out of it and it makes him really happy, go for it. Unless there are any underlying or previous health issues, it should be fine. However, if your dog starts gaining too much weight, you may want to cut back. Chances are if he can tolerate milk and yogurt, a cooked or even raw egg yolk would be okay. Take care and rest assured, you sound like a GREAT dog-mama! I've heard some neat things about P90X but I fear I'd be out of a home if I bought yet another video Colleen
