Guest guest
Betagen has another proprietary ingredient called HMB, which also helps in muscle recovery. Good stuff! However, I still get a bit sore in at least one muscle group most of the time. Are you sure you're hitting your tens? Perhaps you need to push a little harder now. Creatine should help you do that... with the extra " pump " it gives your muscles. Good luck! : ) " Nothing is more powerful for your future than being a gatherer of good ideas and information. That's called doing your homework. Guest guest
When is the last time you totally changed your lifting routine? Betagen definitely helps with soreness but it probably won't completely eliminate it, especially with a routine you're not used to. I still shuffle and wince the day after a really brutal workout. Make sure your routine is still challenging enough. You should be able to lift heavier now and knock out more reps (like with push-ups). If you know you're really pushing your limits and yet you don't get sore, you might just be lucky. It doesn't mean your workouts aren't effective anymore, it just means that you've become turbo recovery woman. Guest guest
Well....I 'm using heavier weights then before, change my workout even just little things everytime I do...but I remember I started to feel the soreness coming on...however I did go on a bike ride with friends for about an 45-hour leisurely, could that have possibly stopped the extreme soreness I feel usually?? Thanks for all the inputs! Barbara > When is the last time you totally changed your lifting routine? Guest guest
Normally, you're the most sore when your muscles are cold and you've been motionless for a long time. Like you might feel the first soreness coming on when you stand up after reading or watching television for a few hours, or especially when you wake up the morning after a workout. The big bike ride may have increased the circulation and kept your muscles warm and flexible enough that you didn't " lock up " like you normally would have. :-) Re: Betagen and workouts Well....I 'm using heavier weights then before, change my workout even just little things everytime I do...but I remember I started to feel the soreness coming on...however I did go on a bike ride with friends for about an 45-hour leisurely, could that have possibly stopped the extreme soreness I feel usually??
