Guest guest
It says so in the packet. All winners have to go through background checks, drug tests, and lie detector tests, if I'm not mistaken. It would not be a good idea to try and " pull a fast one " . If you can't find the info in your packet, perhaps they changed it since the last challenge I sent in. I haven't opened the latest one yet... been a bit lazy this time 'round. (As if I'm ever NOT a bit lazy, LOL) " Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow - what a Ride!' " ~~ Sage (entrepreneur and speaker) Official Challenge I saw where someone said that you cannot use pictures from a digital camera for the official challenge. I have read the BFL site and the guidelines several times and do not see where it says you cannot use digital pictures. Can someone tell me where this is stated? I am entering the official challenge and took my before pictures with a digital camera. I will be really bummed if this is the case. Also, if I take my camera to a store to get them printed out, they print out on Kodak paper, how would they know they were from a digital camera? Guest guest
A friend of mine called them about this before and was told that you could use digital photos, but you had to have them printed at a commercial establishment, not on your home printer no matter how nice it may be. This could be an online photo developer like Ofoto or Shutterfly, or even a self-service kiosk at your drug store. They want to see that Kodak paper watermark, as if that would stop people from doctoring pics in Photoshop first, then taking the new file in for printing! Oh well, I'd guess that most people probably don't have the tools to do a convincing digital airbrush anyhow. Digital photo manipulation done with a mouse generally looks very bad and very obvious anyhow. , I'm submitting pictures taken from a digital camera and printed via Snapfish.com and Walgreens. I might do real film pics next challenge just as a back up, though. I think I have a better shot at a 24k gold pin in Challenge 2 than I do in my first one. Maggie RE: Official Challenge That is good to hear, I guess. I am just going to send it in the way I have it. I can't re-take the pictures now. ) Theilacker
Guest guest
Oh, good. That is what I was going to do. Not that I think I am going to win or anything, but feeling like I am in a competition makes me work harder. ) Theilacker Directory 411 http://www.geocities.com/dtheilack_99/ A Place For All Your Shopping Needs Re: Official Challenge A friend of mine called them about this before and was told that you could use digital photos, but you had to have them printed at a commercial establishment, not on your home printer no matter how nice it may be. Guest guest
You CAN use a digital camera, but the photos have to be developed professionally, just take the memory card from your camera to the film place...it's easy. Here's the link with photo info http://bodyforlife.com/photos.shtml Good luck! > I saw where someone said that you cannot use pictures from a digital camera > for the official challenge.
