Guest guest
good question Sharon, some allergest do give mold drops, made from mold that you put under the tounge that are supposed to build up your ammunity to mold. dont know if they work or not.I also think that modls and mycotoxins are seperate issues completely, even though mycotoxins are produced by some molds, dealing with " allergies " to molds and dealing with mycotoxins from certain molds are 2 different things. besides the length of exposure and amounts, and which toxin produceinng molds you are exposed too, one thing to consider is what other toxic particles may be attaching theriselfs to mold spores and getting inhaled along with them. than, something else to consider is that each persons body is different and I bet that two people exposed to the same molds the same amount of time,in the same home, may have different effects.we already know that a family in a moldy home suffer different effects and it seems to be based on the time they spend in the home, and surely each bodies makeup plays a role. just like children and elderly can get more damage because theri organs are not as strong. I wonder if blood type could also play a role in it?? some could also be takeing it with them,if they leave the home and take things with them, and dont clean these things well enough.(the cross contamination thing) does have a point about being able to get tottally away from it, meaning leaveing all things behind, and getting in a mold free home or apartment, which may take a lot of trail and error to find, but damage that is allready done may not all get better after getting out. some of my symptoms are getting better in the last year sence finding a mold free apartment. the MCS and stomach problems(also caused by MCS) is one gift that keeps on giving and seem to be getting worse. even the fibromyalgia " like " symptoms, which from what I've been told are toxins lodged in your glands, seem to be getting better after getting in this apartment,(slowly) but I also can get flair ups of this very painful ackeing, with a MCS attack that lasts about 3 days, a bad MCS attack actually makes me fell like Im back in the moldy house again, but without the effects of the " allergy " (watery eyes drippy nose, sore throat, effects to ears, or burning eyes, nose, throat. also, just pushing on my glands on different parts of my body can aggervate this " fibromyalgia like effect " . trichathecene mycotoxins cause infections in your body,it did some damage to mine that is permenant.time exposed to this mycotoxin can cause serious damage and death. its been refered to as a silent killer, because you usually dont see it or smell it. sence your sinuses have to do with your glands, cronic sinusitis may play a big part in how or if you recover after getting out, dont know, just a guess. aspergillus, aflatoxins can also cause death. low amounts of this in my first home didnt seem to effect me a lot, but in the second home, with very high amounts, it caused me to lose around 70-80 persent of my lung compasity. slowly, but not tottally regained after getting out by coughing up goobs of mucus filled with fungal balls. has it caused invasive aspergillus? I dont know. but I do know that this second home is where I developed MCS. my guess would be that every body has a threshold, limit of what it can take, before its immune system gets over powered, and depending on what mycotoxins your exposed to,( because different mycotoxins cause different effects), and how long your exposed, well deturmine how well you recover. but I dont have much to compare to, meaning that I dont have comparable resorces. want to share your exposure history with us? Im thinking that Dr. Shoemaker has seen enough patients that he might have a Idea. could it be that our genitics play a part in how well we recover too? I would like to know if, for example; trichathecene mycotoxins from stachoboctrys has the same level of toxcidity in every case, or could other toxic particles in the air also attach themselfs to condida spores or mold spores or even mycotoxin particles and make it even more toxic. mold toxins used for biochemicals of war are usually mixed with other toxins, aren't they? and could it be that these mold toxins found in sand and dirt, which seem to be very toxic(because they cause death very quickly) are a result of pestisides and other chemical particles attaching to these molds and mycotoxins? when you think about it, mold needs moisture and when it gets growing good, some types produce theri own moisture. wouldn't dry particles, weather in the air or ground, get attached just because of the moisture? than be inhaled, makeing what you inhale even more toxic. are mold spores acting like a train ,picking up toxins on its way to being inhaled? I have been reading about how some very toxic particles are so tiny, the highest magnafacation is needed to see them, like quantum dots, a very toxic particle which comes from electronic parts as they get old and decompose. now, haveing said all of this, this is only my views based on my experience. wouldn't it be nice to have real answers from medical doctors, scientests, and certain goverment angencys. --- In , snk1955@... wrote: > > I have a question for you all.
