Guest guest
Best of luch Kenya. I'm just starting out again too. Danna being new and starting again. Hey, i was just catching up on all the posts over the past 2 weeks and i just had the funnies thought. When we're newbies and we post for the first time, we kind of sound like new AA member. Hi, may name is ______________ and i'm overweight... then everyone says hi_____________. Which i guess in a way, this group is like AA only for food and not booze. It is an awesome support system and i look forward to getting reacquainted with all the veterans and getting to know all the newbies. Almost 5 weeks ago, i had triple surgery. I had a hysterectomy, bladder repair surgery, and urethra tube repair. I had my dr's appointment last week and he said everything looks great and i'm good to start BFL without many worries... He just says if i start to hurt then to change up the routine until i feel better. My hubby and I are both doing it this time... i attempted in january and lasted 3 weeks... in that time i completely quit soda and was drinking purely water. i was losing weight and feeling good. Then we went on a winter retreat with church, and it all went down the tube. Then the doctor found all these medical problems and i had to wait. Now i'm ready and willing to jump back on the BFL wagon and i'm looking forward to all the advice you guys can give me. We're planning no starting Sunday so we can have saturday as our free day. Well, i guess that's all for now. i'm sure i'll talk to you all soon... Kenya in wi
Guest guest
Good luck! I'm sure you're going to do great! : ) Oh... and BTW (I'm not one of the following, but...) SOME of the people who go on BFL want to GAIN weight because they're too skinny and scrawny. I wonder if that's a lot harder to do... ? Do you know? being new and starting again. Guest guest
Yes, gaining muscle without getting fat is tricky business. It requires a lot of hard work, discipline, and patience. Stasia could give you the scoop. I want to say that she's gained 9 pounds or something like that since starting BFL. And none of it was lard. :-) RE: being new and starting again. Good luck!
