I was informed that if people are in ligitation that they can not

discuss their case. We may want to talk to an attorney about it to

I just want to say that people in litigation need this too.many of

them first have to educate theri selfs just to know how to hire the

right lawyer and need to know some facts and questions to ask theri

lawyer to see how knowledgeable he is on the subjest. some lawyers

dont take these cases because they dont have the slightest Idea whats

going on. knowing myself that it takes some research that lawyers

dont have a lot of time to do. second, there is a need for shareing

info., documents, exc. with your lawyer. lets face it, lawyers need

education on this subject because nothing is worse than loseing a

case when it regards your future and your illness. there is a big

lack of lawyers doing these cases. I know 2 cases done in my area,

lost, and the lawyers refuse to try another. I dont see where being

in litigation should stop anyone from getting support, knowledge, or

even sharing theri story, they just need to use a little causion. and

actually allowing litigation lawyers in could help the cause greatly.

and if defence lawyers are there they may learn something. the truth

is the truth, plain and simple. I think it should be available to the

public, that means everyone, we all can and have the power to hide

our identity. its not going to get us very far if we denie the very

people who need info. and support. and lets face it, we are in a war

of our own to get this illness reconized, and if it takes many

lawsuits to do it, so be

it.

My attorney always told me to state the facts and you can't get into

trouble. I would think you could also call just to say hi and use a different

name

& don't give details. I will be nice just to hear a voice instead of just

seeing everyone in black type.

I agree, we have freedom of speech but just make sure to stick to the

facts! Just don't refer to your boss as an @#* & %*# even if the name fits

him/her

Who says someone in litigation can't talk about htier case?

I am suing nordstroms and the worlds largest cosmetic comoany and they

can't stop me from discussing it.

Right down to the website they can't stop.

Let me start off by saying that Letitia is NOT saying that people in

litigation aren't welcome on the calls. What she is saying that many

are told by their attorneys not to discuss their case. Many here

fall under that category. She also says to discuss this with your

atty if you have any doubts. Very simple. Everyone is welcome to

call and discuss what is happening with them. She is trying to do

something nice so people can actually talk to each other on a more

personal basis.

after I reread her post, I understood that if you submit pictures

that may be used in a case, it might not be good to have them

displayed on line, and Im glad she brought that up. also, it may be

wise to leave names and company names out. for everyone

envolved.

Unless information or exhibits are under a gag order, anything that is

filed with a clerks office is PUBLIC information and may be disclosed.

That is how I got around posting the deformulation of Angel Perfume.

I used it as an exhibit and therefore since it was public I could

disseminate it

Especially when the SOB's are claiming to be a BOTANicaLLY BASED

corporation and the perfume deformulation reads like an inventory list in

an organic chem stockroom.
