I use 6 caps (300 mg each) TID during an acute outbreak or prodrome.

You can definitely use Acer & Platanus as well.

You can also use Aroma #4.

Also UNDAs for it.

Since using acer + platinus I now rarely use it.

Hi All-  Does anybody (DT?) recall the dosing of monolaurin for an acute herpes outbreak?  I remember it's 6 caps at a time but how may times a day? (I have the 300mg capsules from Ecological Formulas, same as the ones used at the NCNM clinic. ) Also, some folks recommend a maintenance dose to keep outbreaks at bay... any thoughts on that? Would that be considered a form of suppression? If one were to treat with Acer and Platinus would you use monolaurin too?  Thanks in advance.
