Mold was discovered on the walls of the children's room in the basement of the library. The upstairs sections of the library will remain open as only a limited amount of mold was discovered in that part of the building. The mold was uncovered beneath the wallpaper when it was removed in preparation for repainting. The trustees and staff hope to get the children back into a clean room as soon as possible.
